About Me
I am living my best life in the Des Moines Metro area along with my partner Lance, a career coach at a non-profit, my adult son, Elijah, and my teenager Izzy.
Being disabled sometimes makes life a challenge, but I thrive in my career as an entrepreneur and REALTOR®. My challenges make me a genuine, compassionate, and resilient woman. This also makes me great at being cool, calm, and collected in stressful situations, which is handy in real estate negotiations.
Before real estate, I owned a vintage and handmade shop and managed a children's art museum on weekends. I consider myself a multi-passionate creative and dabble in a variety of artistic mediums frequently, including knitting/crochet, interior design, website design, flower arranging, and drawing.

I love being outdoors barefoot on the local beach or in my garden, trying out new art forms, remodeling my home, and getting together with friends for a book club or local concert.

Some things I'm passionate about are: understanding personalities (enneagram lover!), advocating for equitable treatment of marginalized communities, especially LGBTQIA+ and disabled persons, and empowering small business owners & artists in the Des Moines area.

As a member of the Des Moines Civil & Human Rights LGBTQ Advisory Council, I actively contribute to shaping policies and championing the rights of the LGBTQ community in housing, employment, city services, and public accommodations.
