Did you know there is a difference between a real estate agent and a REALTOR®?

Did you know that not all people who sell real estate are created equal? Yeah, it's true!
While some may call themselves "real estate agents," only the certified ones who pass through NAR or The National Association of REALTORS® can actually call themselves REALTORS®.
What's the difference, you ask? Well, REALTORS® must have a clear criminal record, abide by a strict code of ethics, and put their clients' interests before their own.
That code of ethics is a whopping 17 parts long and includes things like not discriminating against people and not lying about your qualifications.
If you're not working with a REALTOR®, you might not have that same level of protection as those who are.
So if you're buying or selling a home in Iowa, give me a call! As a licensed REALTOR®, I'm happy to say that I follow that strict code of ethics and will do everything I can to protect you.
Check out the full code of ethics here if you want to learn more.
